I have always had a passion for great food - growing up in a family of phenomenal women cooks, I learned to anticipate
each meal with great delight. The aromas coming from the kitchen seduced my senses to mush as I gobbled down
everything I could get at. My thoughts sometimes never went beyond what was being prepared for the next meal - and oh,
the incredible meals I enjoyed! It was my absolute greed that impelled me to make many family members stop in their
tracks and impart the exact measurements for that particular treasured recipe. In that way, I amassed what is now a
formidable arsenal of treasures - the recipes of my family and friends, many written down for the very first time.
 
When I discovered I was gluten-intolerant (most probably celiac but that is another story), the devastation I felt was indescribable - I thought that I would never again taste the delicious foods that I had grown up loving, nor eat in another decadent French restaurant!  I could not accept what seemed to me the harshest of sentences.
 
Instead, I got to work. Some of the results are within this website, whether through flour blends or frozen foods,
condiments or baked goods, they are all designed to take one back to a world where we all once enjoyed dining
without a thought beyond how it tasted. To put the thrill of eating back on the table.
 
It is my hope that this website will also prove to be a health link to help you find the answers you are searching for.
And I hope, in some small measure, that I have brought a smile back to your face when you next dine gluten-free.

At Molly B's, all our products are gluten-free (for those of you new to this term, that means wheat-free as well) with many of our products also dairy-free (lactose and casein-free), egg-free, no sugar added, yeast-free, corn-free, soy-free and more. In this way, we hope to address many allergy-related issues, making your food choices simpler, worry-free and, according to our loyal customers, far more delicious.  
 
We hope to bring information, not only on all our products, but to create a link to the latest health information available on the web. Whether you suffer from an auto-immune disorder, such as celiac disease, or gastrointestinal disorders, cancer, diabetes or other issues, (autism, ADD, ADHD, crohn's, IBS, arthritis, rheumatism, osteoporosis, epilepsy, etc.) , with time we hope we can provide a forum for shared information as well.
For instance, The National Cancer Institute estimates that roughly one-third of all cancer deaths may be diet related. What you eat can hurt you, but it can also help you. Many of the common foods found in grocery stores or organic markets contain cancer-fighting properties, from the antioxidants that neutralize the damage caused by free radicals to the powerful phytochemicals that scientists are just beginning to explore.  
For instance, did you know  that, according to the cancer cure foundation http://www.cancure.org/cancer_fighting_foods.htm  TAPIOCA starch is one of the cancer fighting foods that could help inhibit cancer cell growth or reduce tumour size. At Molly B's, many of our products and ALL Dry Mixes contain tapioca starch
And, according to Erin K. Peabody, Agricultural Research Service Staff, US Govt., "Sorghum, besides being gluten-free, is also attracting attention for its ability to quench free radicals. Some varieties contain high levels of cancer-fighting phenols and tannins and even exceed blueberries—according to some assays—in antioxidant potential. High in insoluble fiber too, specialty sorghum brans could become unrivalled sources of antioxidants in foods.' At Molly B's, many of our products and THREE Dry Mixes contain sorghum flour.
